Day 31: Legs were strong, it is amazing how well everyone recovered and excited we are about hitting the road again after a day off. We traveled through the rolling hills of Missouri on back country roads. We are in Amish country where we encounter trucks as well as horse drawn carriages. The pasture lands, farm houses and barns are all are pristine. It was common to see horses tied up next to the barns like cars parked in front of garages. The weather cooperated with a great sunny morning that gave way to clouds and showers as we arrived in Chillicothe. Tomorrow it’s on to Kirksville.
