Day 6, Wow what a day, I thought we had wind in Oklahoma but Nevada has plenty. We rode most of the day into a head wind, it was brutal! Everyone was wiped out when we finally got to Lovelock, the home of OJ Simpson, who is locked up in the Lovelock state prison. Food was great, lodging adequate. Lots of hwy riding and penlty of flat tires, I had my first. Get to do it all over again tomorrow. As one of our riders said after the long ride today, "the only thing worse then riding into a stiff head wind is not riding at all" words of wisdom. Northern Nevade is open and lush. The current rain has given the country side a spring feel. On to Winnemucca!
